Algebra and Trig Are Thought-Provoking. Mr. Baker kept Algebra I and Il classes on their toes solving unknowns. Students need to learn their algebra Well because they will need it if they continue their math with trigonome- try. Trig class briefly studied calculus and probability near the end of the year. Geometry Classes Work with Many Proofs The study of planes and geomet- ric figures and their relationships helps to organize students thinking not only in math but in other areas also. Geom- etry students found their proofs easier to understand if they enlarged their drawings on the blackboard. I

General Science Serves As an Introduction Advanced study in the science department stems from an interest in a specific area studied in general science. This year Tom Od- den, teacher, covered several areas in the course, encour- aging those who excelled in a certain phase.
