Guidance counselors, Mrs. Douglas, with the aid of her secretary, Mrs. Allbaugh and Mr. Rector, helped stu- dents with their class schedules, inter- preting of tests, and any other problems. Mr. Rector was also busy as assistant principal as well as teacher. Another giver of advice was Mrs. jim Davis, school nurse. Besides pro- viding medical help, she also checked on school attendance. With the proper guidance from teachers and parents, and self-discipline the Class-of-66 finally reached its goal. All in one busy Weekend seniors danced to prom music, graduated and received gifts .

Prom and graduation marked the cli- max of the seniors 12 years of school. Mike Bishop and Toni Short were crowned King and Queen at the prom lsle of Dreams . The Four Dukes provided music. Graduation was both .a happy and sad occasion forthe seniors. Receiving their diplomas and congratulations from Mr. Ireland was the highpoint of the evening for the graduates. Those re- ceiving special Awards Were jennifer Shambaugh, valedictoriang Ann Davis, salutatorian and Sally Pickart, Carroll Honor Award Winner. The class was especially privileged to have the Honor- able Birch E. Bayh, jr. as their speaker.
