Although Carroll students have had no consistent outlet for their creativity, the publications over the years have given them a chance to have their feelings published. The Carroller has been printing students' literary works off and on since its first volume, and the Anchor included literary sections in 1973 and 1974. In 1972 students of Mrs. Ann Spivey's Creative Writing class and Mrs. Anne Hall's art classes put out a literary magazine, Dandelion Fuzz. Since the spring of 1971, a reception in the library each year has honored art and photography students, and work by the Artist of the Month and other art students is displayed in the library throughout the year. Anchor '76 has returned to the idea of including a literary section. Poetry and pictures dating from 1964 to 1976 show that people's feelings are still the same, even though the Way of expressing them may have changed. 1.
