They haven't made any public performances but are planning a P. T. A. meeting and a Christmas assembly. There are to be new additions made to the choir at the beginning of the second semester. The choir may enter singing contests next Spring depending onthe size and ability to compete with other choirs. The choir is proud to have had two of the members, Linda Massey, and Mel- vin Meyers, who made regional. Melvin also made all-state. 'V Eight boys and Mrs. Pearce toast the team with grapeiuice at a Latin club party in the teacher's lounge. An ancient Roman custom was when eating to start with eggs and end with apples. The club went along with this by starting their meal with stuffed eggs and ending with apples. LATIN CLUB STUDIES RCMAN LIFE, CULTURE Club officers are: Sue James, secretary, Jon Bartnick, president, Tom Sparkman, vice-president, and Mrs. Pearce, the sponsor and Latin teacher.
