Mass of the Holy Spirit Bishop Eldon F. Curtis joined the students, faculty, and staff of Carroll in celebrating the Mass of the Holy Spirit. Sister Cara Lee Foley was the song leader. Fr. Peoples gave the sermon that will be remembered by many Carroll students. 15

Homecoming 1986 was truly a memorable time. The entire week was tilled with activities highlighted by the coronation, game, and dance. For the coronation, each class voted on a prince and princess, with the King and Queen from the Senior class. The royalty were Freshman Vince DeFelice and Mary Callus, Sophomores George Bourekis and Beth Sterling, Juniors Larry Healy and Chris Nelson, and the Senior King and Queen were Joey Laythe and Theresa Lapke. MC's for the Coronation were Cary McDermott and Jackie Carr. Some of the activities included a mock Awards Night, the Dating Game, a coffee house, I and an air band competition with the winners being The Bitches (lip-syncing to You Don't Have To Take Your Clothes Off, ) The Homecoming Dance was held at the Civic Center with the band Final Exam. The parade and game were on Saturday with Clara Cavanaugh as the Grand Marshall. At Vigilante Stadium, the Fighting Saints were once again vic torious over Rocky Mountain College. Yes, Homecoming 1986 was indeed a time to remember. 17
