The Tumbling Team was a great success on G.A.A Night, April 3rd, Under the direction of Ellen Sloan, the team has had many accomplishments. THE TUMBLING TEAM FRONT ROW. L. to R.: I. Osborn, W. THIRD ROW: H. Mirchell, C. Banker, N. Nevitt, A. Graver, B. Besold, E. Adler, A. Nikilos, W. Frost, D. Bainer, K. Block. Some of the major sports events of the year were the student-faculty games. Onelcon- sisted of men and women teachers playing the girls' varsity volleyball team. Guess who won? The GIRLS' VARSITY TEAM, but the teachers had a good show. Later in the year, there was a boys' student fac- ulty basketball game. This time the fac- ulty won. One of the best parts about the sports at Weber Junior High is the enthusiasm shown for the school teams as evidenced by the many spectators who have attended the games. There are few players but always many, many spectators. Support for our teams is another evidence of cooperation in the schools
