irls' Sports G.A.A. OFFICERS With its faithful and dutiful labors, this G.A.A. board worked to make many events, such as G.A.A. Sports Night and the G.A.A. Dance a smashing success. We owe our respect to each individual manager for the hours of effort she dedi- cated to her activity. Salerno. TRACK Weber had an exceptional track team this year. Fast sprinlers gained points for their school in the hundred yard dash and the 440 relay. MODERN DANCE For those who like to dance, this extracurricular activity under the diligent leadership of Kathy Ritter, G.A.A. manager, was a rare opportunity. With all members working towards G.A.A. Sports Night, it was really lun and a chance to participate in a cultural and artistic endeavor. VARSITY HOCKEY TEAM This year, the ninth grade varsity hockey team is proud to say that it has experienced an undefeated year. lts games have been with Friends Academy, Sousa, Manhasset, and Herrtcks, and in each the prowess of its players paid oh' in either a victory or tie. Rezentals. 42 BASKETBALL Jane Dewey, G.A.A. manager of basketball, has done an excellent iob with her two teams. The Varsity, after playing Friends Academy, Herricks, Manhasset, and Sousa, won only two of these games. But the Junior Varsity is proud to say that they are undefeated, although they did not play Friends Academy. Excellent sportsmanship, as in all other sports, was displayed.
