Carrabelle High Schbol And Carrabelle Elementary School Present The AND NOW THE MEMORY BEGINS DEDICATION: ELEMENTARY She Came To Visit And Wound Up Staying — Missy Cumbie She came to teach for a year or two back in the 70’s — and she’s still here. She met and married one of our own businessmen, and before that she was a Mann. But we like to think that she also stayed because she liked us and wanted to be part of us. In the years since her arrival she has been a part of us, and she has helped us, taught us, and loved us. And on top of all that, she's always smiling. It’s been both educational and fun having her be a part of our Iive9. Thank you for sharing yourself with us, Missy Cumbie. You’ve taught us how to read, write, do math, and love and care for one another. Your gift of love is something that will always be part of us. DEDICATION: HIGH SCHOOL What Would We Do Without Her? JoAnne Gander She’s the sponsor of FBLA, Student Council, the Homecoming Activities, the senior class. Take all that away and there wouldn’t be much left to high school. She taught compensatory math and English for many years, so many of us here learned a lot about reading and math from her also. Now she teaches Business Math, typing, and office but her influence is felt over the whole school as her caring and love help us with the Homecoming parade, the Senior Class trip, the Junior-Senior Prom, the running of student government, the booth at the Seafood Festival, and just about anything else we have to ask her to help with. She’s either a pushover, or she likes us. And we know from the way she grades that she’s no push-over, so we guess the lady really likes us. Thank you for being a part of our lives, Mrs. Gander. Your integrity, your respect for learning and knowledge, and your love of working with young people are aspects of you that will be with us all our lives. There will always be a part of you in us. May our love and respect always be a part of you. w HOMECOMING QUEEN Miss Lori Bentley MR. MISS C.H.S.
