DEDICATION MISS PATRICIA WARTHAN When Miss Warthan first came to C.H.S. she was making her debut into the lives of many students who will never forget her. In the past five years she has inspired students to make useful the life ahead of them. She is an example to most and a friend to all who let her. Her teaching career plays an important role in her life. She taught at C.H.S. for four years and left to continue her education. This year she returned to the student body which received her with open arms. She is teaching biology and is the guidance counselor to both students ana teacners. In your honor Miss Warthan and with very deep sincerity and appreciation for your understanding and knowing comments, we dedicate the 1969-70 Tarpon to you. A friend and counselor to all. 2

Even though he is concerned with the many duties and worries of any principal, Mr. Pierre Kilbourn is never too busy to support all Carrabelle High School activities. we, the students of C.H.S., gratefully acknowledge his efforts to understand and the unselfish time he spends to make our school a success. EDITOR'S MESSAGE Life is full of happiness and even though at times we feel as if school is one of the sadder parts, it is the most important. School is the backbone of youth. The habits we form in school will be the habits we carry with us throughout our lives. In future years we will cherish memories of friends ... classes ... teachers ... ball games ... and activities.
