FACULTY FAREWELLS Goodbye - it's been nice knowing you! Surely will miss you - good luck to you all in whatever you do. ’Course you know I love you. -Louise McMullian Remember your very existence on earth has a purpose. Don’t fail your God, your fellow-men, - or yourself. -Sara Fite Wherever your paths may lead you, remember that you belong to us and we love you. With my warm regards -Margie V. Lowrance Wouldst thou have men speak good of thee? Speak good of them. And when thou hast learned to speak good of them, try to do good unto them, and thus thou wilt reap in return their speaking good of thee. Epictetus -Mrs. Ruth Hance Seniors, as you leave these doors, you are leaving something of yourselves as a heritage for future classes. What you have done for the school and what you have meant to the school - your sense of loyalty, your spirit of cooperation, your vision of the school as a workable democracy - will influence future generations many years. As you pass through these high school doors and go out and find your rightful place in society, may you Be the Best of Whatever You Are. ” If you can’t be a pine on the top of the hill Be a scrub in the valley - but be The best little scrub by the side of the hill Be a bush if you can't be a tree. If you can't be a bush be a bit of the grass And some highway happier make; If you can't be a muskie then just be a bass But be the liveliest bass in the lake! If you can’t be a highway then just be a trail If you can't be the sun be a star; It isn’t by size that you win or fail-Be the best of whatever you are! -Margaret Young
