m. I JUHIORS Colors Red and White Motto How and Forever Sponsor Mrs. Irene Chaires J is for the Junior Banquet, a feast of Joy for olass and guests, U Is for unity. We work together with great pride. H is for nice. That a what our class Is. I is for intelligence. Yes, we claim intelligence because JoAnn is Beta Club secretary. 6 is for orators. Actually we aren’t but you probably think so after the Banquetlll R is for rhythm and rings. We’re all supposed to get our rings the first day of May-- and for the rhythm-- Just listen and swoon to Rodney’s Stormy Weather, George’s St. Louis Blues Bobbie Sauberan’s I'm Beginning To See The Light, as well as the marches Edward and Bobbie add a touch of swing to... S is for Sports. Our football heroes were Eddie and Bobbie,and in basketball- George, along with Eddie and Bobbie took the honors. Last but not least were the lasses who brought home triumphs for us in basketball. They were: Dessie, Verniece, Mft,il. and JoAnn. Colors Motto Flower Sponsor SOPHOMORES Red and White Hot yours, not mine, but always ours. Gardenia Mrs. Grace O'Neal The Sophomore class with the largest enrollment in high school 1s well represented in all school activities, starring in band clubs and sports. Its bonnie lassies are the most sougnt after on the campus and its handsome lads set hearts afluttering. All will go far as individuals and as a class, for the class motto- Not mine, not yours, but always ours.” is practised by these energetic cooperative students.
