Leslie Cannady, Captain of the team, probably olalms the honor of being the fastest runner on the team and nearly broke his neck several times with his mad dashes and cartwheels Eddie McKnlght, Co-oaptaln, lost for ole' C H S one front-tooth during one of his vicious tackles as our left half baok Tho the smallest man on the team, David Grove has a reputation as the little giant Rodney Robison played a steady, dependable game as left end Ray Solomon was like a stone wall on defense Robert McKnlght played a bang-up game at center and was In there fighting every minute. Bill Wathen played good football and shows promise of developing Into a mean oenter Hawk played heads up football In every game that he was In Charles Soott, with more experience, will be a good half back to have around Credit for the team la due to Coach J. G. Tharp, who have untiringly time and energy to build up the team. BASKETBALL GBOROB OLIVER He played an all around game In practically every game of the season. He was a very good defensive player and was best as oenter guard ROBERT MCKNIGHT Beoause of his build, as well as his guarding was one of the most valuable men on the team ability. Bobble EDWARD MCKNIGHT Eddie has an eye for the basket and this gives him the of being high point man for the year honor RAY SOLOMON One of the fastest players on the team, Ray was a good floor man and always played a very fine offensive game. Captain Ray. RODNEY ROBISON Dependable and unselfish. In team work, Rodney was outstanding as oenter forward. BILL WATHEN One of the best defensive players. Bill always lionised the line and was never afraid to go after the ball regardless of obstacles DAVID GROVE David made up in fight what he lacked In else and played brilliantly as a guard In every game Front-L Taylor, J McMath, L, Cannady, R, Soloman, D.
