And the homework we had was quickly done. Watered with guidance in Freshman year, Soon, as green shoots, we began to appear. In many activities took we a part And that was the year when the annual did start. By the rare air of learning we soon were surrounded Becoming members of Beta Club, recently founded Saplings were we in our Sophomore year And our Forensic winners did heartily cheer. Our Junior days very rapidly went As bids to the Seniors for the Banquet we sent Many activities opened before us As some of us joined in the newly formed chorus. Now as strong trees we Seniors will stand Ready to serve our wonderful land Our play is over, and with our store of knowledge We face toward the world, to work or to college. 14
