carolinian staff doesn t monkey around The Carolinian Staff, under the direction of Mrs. Cindy Oliver and Mrs. Nancy Zende worked diligently to complete this year's Carolinian. Patty Manley. a senior, was helpful to all of the staffers. As editor she made tough decisions and worked hard proofing all material before it was shipped to the printer. The staff's main goal for the an- nual this year was to capture, at its best, Carolina's twenty-fifty anniversary. The theme was meant to carry you back through past years at Carolina while comparing the past with CHS today. After much work and prepara- tion the silver anniversary book was completed. 92fCarolinian Staff A . .3 ii 3. y- ,, fi. .,,

94fIndividuals When asked her overall opinion of CHS and its administrators, former student and senior beau- ty Debra Smith replied, It was basically a good school. The ma- jority of the teachers were nice. In the years to come we will all think back to these years and remember the good and bad times we experienced. Each teacher will have a special place in our memories. We'll be forever grateful to those who pushed us to do our best when we didn't think of it as being important. We'll remember the funny habits some of our teach- ers had. These teachers' atti- tudes and habits which seemed routine at the time, will become a distinct characteristic for each teacher in our memories. Whenever we think of our school, we'll not only remember our classmates but the teachers who have greatly affected our lives. I. 6. ...V ,..-0' fix
