The team did not just beat their opponents, they buried theml Truly, the Trojans were something to be feared. One team that didn't fear the Trojans, though, was the Greer Yellow .lacketsa but the way things turned out, they should have feared our Trojans. 74fSports The Trojans had continued their winning ways, when the big match with conference arch-ri- val, Berea, came rolling around. The match was filled with ex- citement, action, and finally dis- appointment. Even though the Trojans lost, they had lost by only a few points. These few points would cost the team more than they could ever have dreamed. The final and ultimate challenge for the Trojans was the confer- ence tournament. Under the di- rection of Coach Phil Turner, the wrestlers were in it until the last match. They missed win- ning the conference by 4 points. but the wrestlers got their re- venge. They played Berea. the conference champ, in a match after the tournament, and they wore them Dogs out.
