The l98I-82 Varsity Girls Basket- ball team started the season with an impressive team effort in the Zonta Classic. After fin- ishing third in the tournament, the girls began a struggle for a conference title. The girls, un- der the leadership of Coach Bet- ty Moore, proved to be a worthy opponent for the other teams in the conference. This group of ladies has held together a totally balanced team throughout the entire season. Many of our girls' games ended in overtime and a few in double overtime. 0ur girls were always high spirited at all times, no matter how bad a defeat they suffered. The Lady Trojans certainly met all the ex- pectations of their fans. V5 C TU Q-A O in 'lli P- 'U .E U .C 'li Sportsf65
