He had been at Carolina High School twenty- two years and imparted to many a student his knowledge to use and to share with others. Most faculty members will remember the generous and practical ad- vice that Mr. Dilling freely gave on a variety of subjects from landscaping to automobiles. Many students have said Mr. Dilling had a subtle sense of hu- mor. He shared jokes with stu- dents, and students shared jokes with him. These moments often enlivened the atmosphere of his classroom. Because of his experience with math, algebra, and even com- puters, he taught many students the importance and practicality of being good in math. Mrs. Robbins was not only a great teacher but a great friend to many students. Her devotion to her job earned her the re- spect with which we all remem- ber her. She was a person who was willing to give an extra ounce . She taught her students how to work and how to enjoy work. - The Carolinian remembers Mrs. Robbins in a special way this year. Before her retirement Mrs. Robbins was the annual ad- visor and therefore has a special link to C.H.S.
