HOMECOMING QUEEN CROWNING THE QUEEN Charles Joy, Linda Shirley, Lonnie Estes Miss Linda Shirley Lin da Shirley was crowned the i959 Homecoming Queen by Captain L o n n i e Estes and Co-captain Charles Joy during the half-time program of the Carolina- Travelers Rest game. Linda, a member of the senior class, was chosen in a pageant for beauty, talent, and popularity. She is the daughter of Mr. 84 Mrs. Dwight Shirley of White Horse Road, Greenville.
