Mr. John B. Norman Principal of C.W. Hayes High School 1965-1983 Mr. Norman Speaks . . . If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Your life is like a book. The title page is your name. The preface is your introduction to the world. The pages are a daily record of your efforts, trials, pleasure, discouragements, and achievements. Life is activity, planning, dreaming, aspiring, doing, serving, pressing on from one attainment to still greater heights. It is pretty hard for a fellow to make a place for himself in the sun by resting in the shade of his family tree. The price of everything else may go up or down but the price of success remains steady.
