Jon 18. 1976 Felicity meet title— Hayes downs Glenn 61 - BY RONALD WEATHERS Sports news editor Second place was not for Hayes Pacesetters as they came from under a 49 46 deficit halfway through the final period to a 61 -34 victory over Glenn Hawks in the finals of the Birmingham City High School Basketball Tournament before an estimated 2.500 at Fair Park Saturday night Rangoy Rory Campbell and equally-hot-shooting Randy Campbell led coach Howard Smith's Pacesetters through a 2Lpomt final period, scoring 11 and eight points, respectively. Such shooting, while the Haw ks could get but 12 points down the stretch, saw the Pacesetters take the lead for good at 52-50 on a long shot by Albright w ith I 50 remaining Though Glenn had led from the first (joarter until (hat point, there were six ead changes in the game and the score as tied on five occasions. mpbell closed out with 30 points ind Albright with 20 more.
