Mr Eldredge mst: tuted a new type of traimng for the marching season. He got out has copy of the army drill manual and they drilled and drilled and dnlled' The results were so favorable that the band agreed xt had been worth all the trouble and effort The band won a I ratmg at the drstnct festzval, whzch enabled ns members to compete m the State Festival at Jack son, Mrchigan. They recelved a II ratmg in the State contest The combmed muszc groups of CHS presented a Chnstmas and Sprmg concert for the general pubhc The fmrst perform ance was rn the cafetena, however, so many persons attended that the next concert was scheduled for the gymnasrum.
