Barbara Williams Mr. Logan We are glad to have Mr. Logan back at the high school this year. He was appointed the position of principal after' Dr. Fleischer's resignation. Although he has been here for a short time, he has Won the respect and admiration of the students. Mr. Logan has received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Clarion State Teachers Col- lege and his Master of Education degree from the University of Pittsburgh. I-Ie also attend- ed the universities of Colorado and Michigan. Miss Williams Barbara Williams has been secretary to the principal since she graduated. Well known by all, her cheerful personality and willingness to give help have won her many friends. She handles most of the office work and is the sponsor of the Golden Rule Tri- Hi-Y. Mr. Logan

Dolores Dombrowski Dr. Hickes Dr. Roy M. Hickes graduated from Glass- port High School and received his B.S. degree in education from Indiana State Teachers College. He earned his Masters degree at Penn State and was granted his doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh. He was principal of his alma mater, Glassport High, after serving as science teacher and athletic coach. Dr. Hickes assumed the office of super- intendent of Carnegie Public Schools in 1951. Since his arrival at Carnegie, he has been re- sponsible for the addition of many new courses to the curriculum of the school sys- ECII1. Miss Dombrowski Miss Dombrowski, better known to all as Dee , is a pleasant addition to the office of Carnegie High. She graduated from our high school in 1955 and has remained here since then as Dr. Hickes' secretary. Dee is also the vice-president of the Hiltoperettes, a subsidiary of the Hiltopers, which is a local men's and women's gymnastic team. Dr. Hickes

Board of Education President - Mr. Firth The Board of Education was organized to better our school system. It is composed of seven members who are elected by the towns- people and who hold very responsible posi- tions. It is their job to see that all school business and activities function properlyg they supervise maintenance of school buildings, financial problems, taxation, and all other school matters. They are also responsible for extending every opportunity to each member of the community, and to offer to adults, as well as students, the use of modern facilities Within the school building. The school board meets in the conference room of the high school. These meetings are opened to the public in order to help solve problems of any student or taxpayer. We are proud of the achievements of our school board and We hope that every class entering our high school will be just as proud. Standing: Mr. Jones, Mr. Schnepp, Mr. Walker, Mr. Lesko.
