THE BALL After thns last wm the Ilfflr Tarhzns seemed to hue a sllght chance agalnst the strong team of our nenghbormg school Scott Townshlp The two teams wue about even on tht ground but Scott took to the a1r, and as a result scored two touch downs to wm 13 to 0 The next game was at Dormont, where the Lztfle Tartans held thelr own for three quarters However, the Dormont offensxve got under way 1n the last quarter and when the fmal whnstle blew, the score was Dormont 19, Carnegne 7 Canonsburg then came to vlsnt the Lzflle Tartans, and by mterceptmg two passes they were able to score and wm 12 to 6 The fmal game was wlth Crafton, and as usual was the most nmportant to both schools The scor1ng came late m the game, wxth Crafton scormg fxrst on a long pass, but the Llffle Tartans marched rxght back to tle the score As Carnegxe prepared to kick off If seemed as though the game Cheerleaders aux Smith x man Hsu Ln 1 5 1 Football Seniors FRONT ROW--Cuch Shumacher Shmk Fuhbarx li Davns Cl Dau Hnles Klapach Wengrwn would end nn a t1e, but a Crafton back took the ball and ran all the way t0 2 touchdown The game ended almost rm medlately afterwards, and Crafton walked off wnth the score 13 to 6 ln then' favor The season ended wnth four WINS and fxve losses, and proved to be a fme lm provement over former years About the same number of lertermen are returmng for next season, and we can agam expect a good showmg by our team 7 .
