Under the direction of Mr William Nesmith, yearbook sponsor, and Mr. Sylvan Pinto. American Yearbook representative, we have made many new and interesting changes. A Fall yearbook and a cover designed by Pete Maruska and Gary Grooms are just two of the various differences in our book this year. I hope you enjoy looking through and reading the entire book and that you will spend many pleasant hours recalling the activities of the past school year. The staff and I would like to wish you all the luck in the near and distant future and hope your 1969 yearbook will help you to keep in mind the many wonderful hours spent here at Carmichaels Area Sincerely yours. Barbara J. Pavel Carol Kovach, editor of the school newspaper, the Mike, has collected news items from all school happenings. Al though the newspaper did not make its regular appearances as in past years, the publications that did arrive were most interesting and informative. Row I: S. Hockenberrv. Sec.: A. Bocchim.
