When you get right down to it, it's really the little things you re- member . . . those spontaneous parties in the spring . . . how rapidly 4 a.m.arrived on Prom night . . . football practice in the mud . . . eat- ing up candy profits . . . and hayrides in the fall. We even thought of study now and then. We have tried to evaluate the most important happenings, which are accumulations of little things -- little things which are the essence of traditions. We,the Senior Class of 1954, dedicate our Annual to Miss Mabel Myers. We take this opportunity to show our appreciation for the contribution she has made to our school during her past years here at C. H. S. 5. :ff-, X Q 41' we 'XV' 'ui' v 15 it . :. was-Q f l Um 247 This year has been an important one for Carmel School. Highlighting it was the visit of a North Central Evaluating Committee in December. Months prior to this, students and faculty had worked over self-evaluationforms, had planned and re-arranged, scrubbed and cleaned, so as to have everything in apple-pie order. Monday, December 14, the long-awaited day arrived. And with everyone co-operating as they did, we finished the week with restrained hopes of being accepted as a North Central school. Whether Carmel is accredited or not, everyone agrees that it is a worthwhile experience. 6
