Melba Vogel After we freshmen got settled down to the routine of high school life everything went along fine. We elected our officers after we became acquainted with each other and selected Mr. McDowell as our class sponsor. As our representatives to the student council Barbara Sprehe and Johnny Fisher were chosen. Barbara Sprehe was elected by the student body to be a special maid to the Hoo Doo Queen. One of the high spots of our year was the initiation. You had no trouble in recognizing ci freshman on that day. Musically we rated with the rest with six in the band and one in the sextette. CLASS
