WRESTLING Knowlege of the proper techniques is a vital necessity possessed by MHS wrestlers. Also needed are quickness and alertness which could make the difference between winning and losing a match. Penalty holds like the over-sisers or a full nelson can be dangerous since you could get your ankle or neck broken. Wrestling is a well respected sport. Mike M BASEBALL Mid High baseball swung into its fifth season with its toughened veterans and its new recruits in the freshmen class. Returning this season are Chapo Ramariz, David Cadbury, Jerry Hayes, and Tommy Mcllvain. These are only a few. Every February when 'baseball fever' hits bats, balls, gloves, bases, hard hats, and catchers' equip ment is brought out of storage practice begins. Coaches Leyva and Cox were meet with more than twenty boys trying out for the team. Fielding, catching, batting, and grotmding are practiced every day after school. 3-wma, mm...
