ASS OCIA TION Following the principle that a healthy mind comes with a healthy body, the Girls' Athletic Associa- tion provides Mid I-ligh's female population with a chance at sports. Softball, volleyball, basket- ball, tennis, track, and gym- nastics are taken up by the girls. Several sports days are held during the year, providing a chance for Mid High's girl athletes to com- pete with out-of-town girls. The group is supervised by the Girl's Physical Education teachers. CHEERLEADERS Representing the spirit and determina- tion of the student body were the Mustang, Colt, and Pony cheerleaders. Attending every game and keeping spirits and interest high, the freshman and sophomore cheerleaders never stopped supporting the teams, win or lose.
