One of several popular singing groups at Mid High is the Mid High Singers. Here the group relaxes on the front steps of the auditorium between rehearsals for a concert. The yotmgest choral group is the Mixed Chorus, made up mostly of freshmen. These vocal music students will advance to the concert choirs after many long hours of practice. -....... K -..,,, 39

Long hours of practice are spent on each new piece of music Luitil the choirs turn the sheet of paper into something people want to hear. The choirs perform at as- semblies, concerts, and for local organizations. Several out-of- town trips are made to music festivals and tryouts, making Mid High known as the school with all the good singers. 38
