ENERAL BUSINESS The techniques of speed typing and business procedures are studied in Mid High's general business classes. The students in typing work toward a speedy and accurate typing record. Periodic tests keep the typists Working until their maximum speeds are obtained. ROTC cadets Richard Sherman and Robert McCarrie prepare to lower the flag in ceremonies immediately after school. CA DE T CORPS Mid High has an active Army ROTC program, with the students participating in many school events. ln addition to learning military procedures and tactics, they present the colors at school assemblies and sports events. Every day the flag outside the school is raised and lowered by representatives of the ROTC. The high point of the year for the cadets is the bivouac in the Guadalupe Mountains near the end of the year, which includes military tactics.
