OCIAL STUDIES All Mid High freshmen go through the experience of learning the basics of government and its history. Through the use of textbooks and practical examples the students solve some of the mysteries of the workings of democracy. Sophornores can take World History ' as an elective. They follow the course of history from the cradle of civiliza- tion to its present day maturity. Whether freshman or sophomore, students obtain a Working knowledge of World situations. ENERAL BUSINESS The techniques of speed typing and business procedures are studied in Mid High's general business classes. The students in typing work toward a speedy and accurate typing record. Periodic tests keep the typists Working until their maximum speeds are obtained.
