DEDICA T10 Today's student in today's southwest--someone living in a World with an eye to the future and a part in the past. Carlsbad Mid High School is an institution with a student body Willing to maintain the traditions of the old while in keeping with the new. The 1967 REMUDA is the story of these students, and is dedicated to them--the modern people of the modem southwest.

ARTSA D CRAFTS to 'Wt'fT X ,gary 4 Ricky Stevens, Gloria Sanchez and Gary Siener create pictures in watercolor, pencil, and charcoal. W: w 35, ?f .fi Rudy Sanchez forms his hands to mold clay pottery. 14 Techniques of Water coloring, pastels, clay molding, and others are studied in arts and crafts classes. In art class, students use their knowl- edge of color schemes and art principles to create their own pictures. Emphasis is placed on individual artwork and projects. Crafts students work in the more solid frames of art. Sculpture and clay are among things studied.
