FROM THE EDI TOR. . FROM THE EDITOR. . . This year was one of the fastest moving years of the century so far. There was more action than could be covered in this one year but the greater majority was captured by the camera and the copy. Putting this book together took more time, energy, and enthusiasm than one staff of five to handle. The goal of this book is to impress the reader, to take his full attention, and give him something that he will always remember in future years. We have done our best to get the action side as well as a mature and serious side. Our goal was to please the reader. We feel that we have succeeded. Thanks is given to Miss Pat Kelley, our sponsor at the first of the semester, Ron West for his participa- tion, Mr. Ed Gerlits and Mrs. Helene Wachter at American Yearbook Company, Louise Goodyear for her help on the staff, and the student council and GAA for their help with the yearbook queen elections and the dance. A special thanks is given to Mr. Newel Crouch for the fine photography of group shots in activities, and to Mrs. Lee Komensky for the morale support that boosted us to high goals. The new is in with the new buildings at Mid High while the old has served its purpose and is recorded in history. It was a blast recording one years history at Mid High! I hope all kids find the fun in the making of history.
