Who Was This Man? Dr. Martin Luther King, who was this man? Was he a doctor, a lawyer, or a poet? No. He was the man fighting for freedom and wanted the nation to know it. He was the man who didn ' t fight, curse or kill. Dr. King was the man who used his words to make things real. Once he got stabbed and nearly died He didn ' t quit because he had his black pride. He was the man who said one day different colors would live together. He was the man who said segregation should stop, and integration should live on forever. He was the man who stayed up half the night thinking of what to say. He was the man who said Blacks and Whites were gonna be equal someday. He was who was kicked at, spit on, cursed at, but never changed his mind. He was the man who was determined for freedom and never left the Black people behind. He was the man who was thrown in a cell and locked in with a key. He was a great man as everyone can see. He was the man who James Earl Ray shot and killed. Dr. Martin Luther King was the man who died against his own will. 1 24 Activities I Activities 125 Disco Dance To end the Black History Week this year, M.S.U. spon- sored a Disco Dance, on February 23, 1979.
