SGT. I c HOWARD HILL, JR., USA Sgt. Hill is a native of Moncks Corner, South Caroina and was educated in the schools of Berkeley County. He was serving in Vietnam and was sent here. He has been in the U. S. Army for 18 years and was awarded a Special Citation for his meriitor- ious service in Vietnam. He serves as Senior Army Instructor and teaches Military Science I and II. R. 0. T. C. MAJOR ORLANDO CRUZ, USA Major Cruz was born in Maricao, Puerto Rico, and attended the University of Puerto Rico where he received his R.O.T.C. instruction and a B.S. De- gree. Upon graduation as a 2nd Lt., his first assign- ment was Fort Benning, Ga., and later Fort Gordon, Ga. He went on a tour of duty to Germany and later served in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star for his meritorious service. Other decorations include the Army Commendation Award, Viet- namese Service Award, the Campaign Ribbon, and the National Defense Award. Major Cruz serves as Senior Army Instructor in Carlisle under the R.O.T.C. System and teaches Military Science II and III. 16
