CART. BILL WALTER Capt. Walter graduated from the University of South Carolina as did nearly everyone in his family. While in college he majored in accounting and minored in economics. His activities here at Carlisle are varied. The most important of those is Band Director. He has been teaching at Carlisle for 4 years. CAPT. WALTER P. TIEDEMAN Capt. Tiedeman is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. He attended the Greenville Public Schools and graduated from The Citadel with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, He taught at Carlisle for 4 years, then served 2 years as Headmaster of Wade Hampton Academy. He now teaches Mathematics. We are proud to associate with a man of his ability. 10

CAPT. SIDNEY ZEMP Capt. Zemp was born in Camden, South Carolina. He attended North Greenville Junior College where he earned his B.A. degree. To further his education he did graduate work at the University of Georgia and Western Carolina University. Capt. Zemp has been at Carlisle 6 years. He is in charge of the Quartermaster and the Intramural Staff. He teaches World History, United States History and Psy- chology. CAPT. FRED HATTRICH Capt. Hattrich was born in Macon, Georgia and graduated from Lanier High School, He attended the University of Georgia and lated graduated from Mercer University in 1952 where he received his B.A. degree. Capt. Hattrich has been at Carlisle for 5 years. He teaches Biology. He serves as Head Coach of the Football team and advisor to both the Block “C” and The REBEL 9

CAPT. HAROLD GREEN Capt. Green is a native of Moncks Corner, South Carolina and was educated in the schools of Berke- ley County. He received his B.S. degree from New- oerry College in 1956. At Carlisle Capt. Green is structor of Advanced Algebra, physics, and Second year Algebra. He also serves as coach of :ne football team and basketball. He has been at Carlisle for 3 years. CAPT. JAMES WATSON Capt. Watson comes from Kingsport, Tennessee and attended Marion Military Institute. He later graduated from the University of Alabama where he majored in English. Capt. Watson has been at Carlisle for 3 years and teaches English, History, and Civics. He is currently advisor to the school newspaper, the Carlisle Bugle. CAPT. JIM MINCHOW Capt. Minchow graduated from Sioux Falls Col- lege in South Dakota in 1964. He majored in biology and received his B.S. degree in Physical Education. His minor was Education. He is a coach for football and track and cross-country. He has been at Carlisle for 3 years.
