FACULTY MAJOR WILLIS F. MARTIN Major Martin was born in Mayesville, Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1933 with a B.S. degree in Mathematics. At Carlisle he teaches Math. Major Martin has been at Carlisle for 16 years and is now in charge of the Student Bank and is Advisor to the golf team. CAPT. MAUN THREATT Capt Threatt is originally from Lancaster, South Carolina and graduated from Carlisle in 1953. He attended The Citadel where he received his B.A. degree. Capt, Threatt has been at Carlisle for 10 years and teaches Intermediate Math, Business Law and Algebra I. He is also the Head Football coach, and coach of baseball. 8

MAJOR KARL STOLLER Major Stoller has been at Carlisle for 22 years. Originally from Schenectady, New York, he at’ tended Union College and later received a Masters degree from Yale University. During his time at Carlisle he has taught Chemistry and Science and has served as registrar. MAJOR JACK STEADMAN Major Steadman was born in Chester, South Carolina and received his education from Spartan- burg Jr. College and Wofford College, where he majored in Psychology and Education. Major Stead- man has been at Carlisle for 16 years. During this time he has been instructor of English and Typing. He also serves as Registrar and advisor to the Non-Commisisoned Officers Club. 7

CAPT. SIDNEY ZEMP Capt. Zemp was born in Camden, South Carolina. He attended North Greenville Junior College where he earned his B.A. degree. To further his education he did graduate work at the University of Georgia and Western Carolina University. Capt. Zemp has been at Carlisle 6 years. He is in charge of the Quartermaster and the Intramural Staff. He teaches World History, United States History and Psy- chology. CAPT. FRED HATTRICH Capt. Hattrich was born in Macon, Georgia and graduated from Lanier High School, He attended the University of Georgia and lated graduated from Mercer University in 1952 where he received his B.A. degree. Capt. Hattrich has been at Carlisle for 5 years. He teaches Biology. He serves as Head Coach of the Football team and advisor to both the Block “C” and The REBEL 9
