Keeney, SECOND ROW: Tom Warren, Scott Hunt, Andy Pickering, Craig Wilson, Mark Cooper, Matt Bruckman, Ron Rinehart, Chad Scandrett, Coach Ron Anderson. A tie with West Marshall for second place in the conference was earned by the baseball team with its 10-4 mark. Overall, the team finished the year with 14 wins and 9 losses. Ron Rinehart was the leading pitcher with 11 wins and 2 losses and an ERA of 1.71. The team had an excellent batting average of .305 with six players above the magical .300 mark--David Schnathorst 03700, Brian D. Keeney 0338, Ron Rinehart C3290, Andy Pickering 03140, Steve Koester 03080, and Craig Wilson L303; Keeney also led in horn runs m, stolen bases 05L and RBPs 921 Matt Bruckman led the team in walks received 060 and strikeouts 090 with Schnathorst having the most hits 000. Rinehart scored the most runs Q60. Named to the all-conference first team were Ron Rinehart and Brian D. Keeney with Chad Scandrett, Steve Wadstrom, and Steve Koester on the second unit. Honorable Mention was received by Mark Cooper, Matt Bruckman, and Craig WiISOn. Both Keeney and Rinehart were named to the first team all-district with Schnathorst and Cooper on the second team.
