SOFTBALLERS ADVANCE TO REGIONAL Ix FIRST ROW: Andrea Bishop, Sonja Moore, Nancy Stover, Tracy arla Brick, Carrie Hunter, Julie Hogue, Jonda Black, Beth Hayes, Shanyn Cherkas. An always tough schedule against some of the toughest teams in central Iowa faced the softball team as they ended the season by advancing to the regionals. The team finished with 18 wins and 13 losses, including fifth place with a 7-7 record in the strong Heart of Iowa Conference race. Besides placing second in the Sectional Tournament, they took third place in the lndianola Tournament. Infielder Nancy Stover was named as first-team aII-conference while pitcher Tracy Parson and outfielder Vi Baccam were placed on the second team.
