On October 17 the Braves played London and with a good running and blocking attack won 30 to O. With still a fine spirit the Braves played the Troup Tigers on October 25 and won 13 to 0. Both teams having already shown themselves as the team to be victoriousg the Carlisle Braves went to Overton. Bother teams had a good running and passing attack and both teams played a fine game. With only one minute to play the Ponies intercepted an Indian pass and went across the double strip to make the flnal score 20 to 12 in their favor. The Braves, with revenge in their hearts for the O to 0 tie, played Leveretts Chapel for a victory of 35 to 12. REVIEW OF THE SEASON The 1940-41 Indian Cagers deserve to be ranked as one of the best teams in the history of the school. With a starting five composed of only two mainstays from last year's squad and three first year lettermen, the Indians made an enviable record of 19 victories out of the TG games played during the entire season. John Henry Johnston and Ray Tinnin, Senior lettermen, teamed with Clarence Wilson, Jewell Defee, Royce Peacock and Lawrence Yineo to make the starting lineaup. The :1E1arpsho'tin5j Indians hlared their way through three Pre-season games and a conference fam- x tem London without a setback, During the Christmas holidays this winning streak was broken I-y the loss oi' two games to Carthage, 23 to 31 and 24 to 36.
