FOREWORD Passage of time constantly brings change. A few years ago clothing, buildings, punishment, and activities were very different from those of today; yet the basic things remain the same, as in an hourglass the position of the sand is always changing, though the sand continues to be the same year after year. This year the Oracle Staff by reminding the readers of earlier days hopes to awaken each person to our changing times and the advancements being made today in every field. Perhaps some day, this present year of 1962 and ’63, presented here in the pages that follow, will also be only a memory of the past. As times change, progress is inevitable.
