EDITOR'S MESSAGE Using study halls is one thing, but devoting every spare minute you have during the school day to a project, says that project is important. This is how the BLUE and GOLD staff felt about the yearbook that they published. It was not something to work onjust for fun, although sometimes it was, but serious business. To all of you who put up with my yelling and short temper, I thank you, for the times you were patient and understanding with me, I thank you even more. My greatest appreciation goes out to the following: To MR. WRIGHT - who had to learn along with us and guided us through the bad times with ease and reassurance. To MR. MARSHBURN - Delmar representative, who corrected our mistakes and listened to our complaints. To ROBIN MCCOLLUM f so very glad there was someone in the school who could type. To LELIA WEAVER - even though it took many great decisions and much recopying, you produced beautiful features. To HENLEY BIDGOOD, ROBIN HYLTON, SUSAN BESTLER - thank you girls so much for spending all your spare time on the class pictures, which I know were a big job. To LOUISE MONTGOMERY - you really know how to get money out of people! To COURTNEY DODGE and FRANK TAYLOR - you said you knew a lot about sports and your section really proved it. To RENN GRAVELY - your writing talents were shown to be what everyone thought they were, great. To MARTHA WHITE - a better co-editor no one could ask for, you were understanding and helpful because you knew a little bit about everything. To BEN BEELER, MARK BLODGETT, ROBERT HEINER - Thanks a million for each candid shot you took. Thank you, Helen Weaver ' t l .,.. f I ,Q . 5 .I Wil at 1?
