Lg I BOBBIE WALTERS BILLY JOE SHOUP VIRGINIA STUART TOM I-IALLUM CLASS Twelve years can be a terrubly long time but they dont seem so when each one us filled with fun and happiness Eleven senuors have been un on all the fun from the furst grade to the twelfth They are Patsy Booe Larry Cook Carl Eads Carole Godaur Bully Mann Jackue Moody Ray Morrus Neul Russorn Bully Joe Shoup Bull Smart and Vurgunua Stuart Mrs Goldue Johnson taught these eleven how to read Jane saw a cat and Torn saw a dog Then she moved them acro s the hall where Mrs Ruby Pfeuffer was wautung Here they met Pat Robertson These twelve got too smart for the second grade room so they moved on to the thurd where Vuvuan Morrus Helen Rockenbach Charlene Snuder and Joy Stanley were wautung Mrs Martun taught these happy sixteen to make bean bags and they thought they had mastered the art of sewung Durung the fourth grade Duxue Lea Dawson and Shurley Gunn made their ap pearance The eighteen learned folk dances wuth the help of Muss Hazel Barr In the fifth grade Bobble and Shirley Walters and Bully Pat Hogan loaned thus carefree group under the unstructuons of Mrs Beck and Muss Jessuca Galloway When these growung children reached the suxth grade a new polucy was put unto force The classes changed rooms lt was a mark of dustunctuon to them all They were almost grown Rosa Mae Coffelt louned the troop and at midterm of the same year Betty Jean Butler and Bennie Sue Daniels signed the dotted lune of enrollment Wuth the seventh grade came Wulluam Curry Vurgunua Isbell Bobby Snider and the art of ascending and descendung the staurs without being trampled Mrs Munnue Hucks was the class sponsor The eughth grade paunted the most promising pucture of all A new school build ung lt was an honor to be the furst eighth grade to set foot un the beautiful new buuldung New members among the honored were Lola Jones Bully Cluff Mutchell eughth and nunth grades The nunth grade seemed to offer more freedom to the P OW s For the furst time they were guven the luberty to choose some of the subuects they wished to take Two additions to the class were made that year These were Tommy Hallum and Charles Butler Charles was not a new member but he dudnt fund hus way back from Calufornua untul the nunth grade There were no new entries durung the tenth grade Muss Clara Surns helped the class through that battling year ln the eleventh grade however the force was uncreased by Phul Caldwell Mary Lu Feltenberger Mary Hull and Martha Ann Tefteller Muss Johnnie Coleman put the class over the hurdles of the Junior Play and the Junuor Senuor Banquet Along wuth all the other troublesome thungs the twelfth grade brought there came Gene Skullern Mrs Shannon was wautung on the portals for the class and shaking Macbeth un their faces They have been long years No member of the Senuor Class wull ever forget them And wuth such a grand crew how could they be other than wonderful Here are some of the organuzatuons to which the Seniors have belonged and the extra curricular actuvutues un which they have taken part unduvudually PATSY BOOE FHA 1 2 NHS 3 4 Roundup Staff 4 Homecomung Maud 4 Gurls State 3 Glee Club 4 Junuor Play 3 Office Assistant 4 BETTY BUTLER FHAT 2 CHARLES BUTLER FFA 2 3 4 Football 3 4 Trackl 2 3 4 Class Vuce Presudent4 PHIL CALDWELL FFA3 4 FootbalI3 4 Track 3 ROSA COFFELT FHAT 2 3 4 Glee Clubl 2 3 4 Offuce Assustantl 2 3 4 Gurls State 3 Homecomung Queen 4 Halloween Queen I A ' I I I V 1 I I I I 1 I 1 ' , .
