The jo; comes from the close relationships made over the course of thosi twelve years, and from the expectations of things to come in th future. Sadness comes along with the thought that you will leave behind your friends and family as you go forward with your live to jobs, higher education, or military service. As you go forward into the future, I charge you to use you opportunities and your abilities to the fullest not only for you own hopes and ambitions, but also for those who do not have the same advantages that you have enjoyed. 1 congratulate you on your achievement and give you m; sincere wishes as you go forth. 3 Burly Mathis Principal Congratulations, Seniors, on reaching one of the most impor- tant milestones of your lives. You have met the challenges, both great and small, and have succeeded where many have not. As you leave, may you carry with you good memories of your experiences here. Most importantly, may you carry with you a desire to continue in your search for knowledge, for ac- complishment, and for spiritual growth; for in your search for these things, you will enrich not only your own lives, but also the lives of those who know you. The future is in your hands. Strive to be happy. Robert E.
