Thesc and many other questions are discussed by the members ot' the Future Teachers' Club. Under the sponsorship of Miss Dorothy Baker. the club attracts young people who believe they may like to enter the teaching pi-Ottessmn. lfVhat sort of program does the club offer? might bc a prospective mem- beris first question. During the year the organization saw numerous movies relating to teaching and preparation lor it. ln addition to this, classes havc been visited and teaching techniques observed. At one point in the prograin. grammar schools were visited where members had an opportunity to view the administrative side of education. Miss Ruth YVebb, Board ol Education psychol- ogist, addressed the group. Mr. Harry Lassen, college advisor, discussed teaching scholarships at one meeting. The National College of Education rounded out the program by presenting a panel discussion. The club's activities are numerous and varied, each contributing in its own way a clearer understanding of the teaching profession. H3

Why, a member of the engineering club of Mr. Nicholas Marlowe. Here technically minded students have an opportunity to follow up their interests in mechanics, to learn of the present and to take the first steps toward the ever Widening horizon of engineering of the future. To perform experiments, to check data, and to observe the application olf scientific principles, these are the outward signs of the science club ot Mr. Frank Ulveling. Behind these projects, however, can be found the deeper elements namely, an interest in science that will provide our scientific-minded world with people well able by virtue of both training and interest to meet the challenge of the modern day.
