We, who are yet enrolled in Schurz, wish you untold happiness and success, and we want you to remember that you are still a part of Schurz. You have joined the long list of alumni who have made the Spirit of Schurz live wherever they have gone. May the friendships you have enjoyed here, and the many joyful experiences you have had in this, your school, live in your hearts always. Take with you the priceless experience and knowledge which Schurz has given you. Make the dreams you dreamed while at Schurz a reality. When you walk out of its doorway, may you see on the distant horizon the dim outline of a new door, beyond which lies a future of happiness. we vlslon TDMQRROW

Working Together Brings Success Mr. Tietz is known to the entire school as a friend, but the Student Council regards him as an adviser as well as a friend. There were many times that discussions between him and the ofhcers of the Student Council took place. Mr. Tietz works closely with the Council, giving them his advice and assisting them in carrying out their projects. Ronald Mathews, chairman of the board, Carol Rustemeyer, vice chairman of the board, Roy Sove, sergeant-at-arms, Mr. Tietz, Richard Sloma, president, Margaret Rehr, recording secretary, Robert Gremley, treasurer, Marilyn Hausberg, clerk of the board, Olga Golosinec, corresponding secretary, and Frank Staple, vice president, were the officers of the fall semester who met with Mr. Tietz to plan for the assemblies to be sponsored by the Student Council. The Council, sponsored by Miss Loucks and Miss Falkenroth during the fall term, and by Miss Falken- roth and Mr. Harz during the spring term, is one of the most active student groups in the school and is always ready to assist when needed.
