After whipping Oak Lawn, the Eagles were set down by Plainfield. Then they went on to string 3 more wins before being halted by Plainfield again in a close game. At this time the Eagles added a string of five games to their victory column over Lincoln-Way, St. Procopius, Reavis, Lemont, and Oak Lawn. The Frosh-Soph lost their next two games to Rich and Bremen which put them in second place in the conference, but they came back in style by taking the winner's seat over Minooka and Lincoln-Way in walkaways.
