After beat1ng Lemont, Sandburg aga1n lost to Rrch and Bremen. The Eagles then gave the fans a real thr1ller aga1nst M1HOOka but lost 1n the closlng m1nutes 62 72. In the last conference game of the regular season the ball men swamped L1ncoln Way 74 47. In the d1str1ct tournament on the local court Coach Jorstad's f1ve beat Lmcoln Way 77 37 and Morgan Park M. A. 52 24 to take f1rst place and to w1n the1r second trophy.
