Well, we finally made iT! We enTered The upper-classmenls ranlcs as our Junior year began. No more assemblies wiTh The Freshmeng we were Juniors beginning a busy and exciTing year. In The fall we ordered our long-awaiTed class rings, and whaT a Thrill iT was To receive and To wear Them. We all were happy wiTh The sTyle which our class officers had chosen, and we were proud To display our rings. One of The main responsibiliTies of The Junior class is ThaT of sponsoring The Junior-Senior prom. We raised money by The coaT-checlc service for baslceTball games. Everyone worlced hard To give The Seniors a prom which They will long remember. Our Third year in Carl Sandburg l-ligh School was filled wiTh many acTiviTies, boTh social and scholasTic. As The year sped by guiclcly we focused our aTTenTion on our academic courses as well as The enjoyable aspecTs of high school. Our aTTenTion began To cenTer around our coming senior year and The prospecTs of choosing a college. We seT our goals and ambiTions high, and as The l963-64 school year came To a close, we anTicipaTed an even more rewarding year To come.
