Meelings and in- formal discussions wifh associales enable 'reachers lo dis- cuss problems and lo develop well-rounded ideas by hear- ing olher viewpoinls. The social sludies deparfmenf, under lhe direclion ol Mr. James Zimmerman, helps 'rhe sludenl develop a beller underslanding and apprecialion of lhe world in which we live. Social sfudies are ol vi+al irnporlance lo sludenls loday: lhe young people gain alliludes and concerns, which will help shape fhe lulure, from social sludies. All sludenls are reouired 'ro parlicipale in physica' ed- ucafion. Besides leaching basic rules lor many sporls, 'rhe physical educalion program enables a sludenl lo develop his abililies and slcills in aclrivifies such as archery, soccer. dancing, baslcelball, and fumbling.
